Users review: The story of how World War Z was far more harrowing and disturbing than the film itself. His way, on budget and enduing a major renovation and re-shoot of the Final Act, WWZ did not exactly set for success. In the end, the film is completely forgotten and uneven, but it does not hurt bad or terrible in any objective sense. What struck me about it was how it was missed opportunities, given how interesting and fascinating source material is.Having read the book World War Z, I can tell from the trailer for the film, it will not exactly true adjusted. I thought the most interesting aspects of the book was a study of how the Zombie Plague affected the social and political structures worldwide. None of this is completely ignored in the film, but I can at least understand how the filmmakers seem to think that these aspects are working in a feature length film. What I can not understand how the filmmakers are apparently ignoring the most cinematic books including evident. The book contains a number of scenes action SETPIECE, and to be fair, many of which are associated with the decline of world cities infected zombies and the film is not doing enough to coat. However, the huge battle scenes from the book - the meat zombie war in the name, such as the Battle of Yonkers, a nuclear war between Pakistan and Iran, the Chinese civil war and massive battle against the zombies - completely absent. I was very surprised they do not include these, especially the scene Yonkers, because they fit so well obviously the script and the film, even as it is now, it can be easily tweaked to include or up not even mentioned. Actions that did make it in this film is very poor and unclear due to limitations PG-13 degrees, and the narrative around engaging enough to get really for me to invest in it.I also surprised how cheap this movie looks. The film is worth hundreds of millions of dollars to make, but it's hard to see where it went on screen. Hordes of zombies look very fake and quietly, and in some cases, computer-animated zombie individual that gave me bad memories of I Am Legend terrible CGI overload. In addition to the opening scene in Philadelphia and in the Middle attack in Jerusalem, there is not a lot of open sets. The South Korean air base is depicted as a series of dark rooms, too much of the film takes place in the airline seats, lots of seating inside aircraft carriers, and so a sense of scale is controversial, and there's n is emphasized in the Final Act strange, and was clearly the focus of the reshoots famous, because it feels like a film completely separate. I consider myself to be patient viewer, but it began a very long and boring scene to come with me after a while, and my lower viewership patients will eventually fall completely out of sync with the movie and start making fun of him at every opportunity - not really a fair criticism of the film, but it's a real problem if it can not keep the audience's attention. In fact the last act you have an interesting idea behind it, although one that does not connect perfectly with anything in the book, but I do not think it's the concept of achieving well. Quite a different style and tone of these scenes makes it feel like movie.Again completely different, though nothing all that terrible WWZ, I do not think it's all to admire. In other words, a perfect 5/10 film. I want them to be more aware of the potential of raw materials, because without the best and most cinematic aspects of the book, WWZ (film) and WWZ (the book) will share the title and the central premise zombie plague, which is not original idea by itself.
