Users review: Shaun of the Dead is quite surprising and brilliant piece of work, I doubt that to achieve the award of instant cult-of-mouth snowball this film deserved recognition.Simon Pegg and co-author of a major star in the film, the comedy is in force for some time, especially in the fantastic BBC2 series of hippies (which inexplicably bombed evaluation) and the cult Channel 4 series Spaced. Both programs hinted Peggs saliently dead pan comedy (and writing) that is full of true Shaun Dead.In In a nutshell, this film is a romantic comedy of zombies (or Zom-Rom-COM), it seems not visible reason (although there are some tantalizing clues provided). The film is an amazing combination of fun, violence, and poignant.Pegg has thrown one hell of a serious loser in this movie. And no American form: I am a loser, but I work in television and my wife Jennifer Aniston such a loser as portrayed in tripe like Bruce Almighty, or dozens of other films in the U.S. lost. Peggs Shaun is a real loser and hes also very recognizable everyday person who works in the electrical distributor, and his life is nothing but boring and frustrating - and this is where all the comedy comes in this movie. There are two scenes in the film that seem to sum up (and also shed light on Simon Pegg as a very smart and funny writer), both scenes simply involves walking Shaun La, heiselle convenience store. For the first time Shaun plods semi-coma trade, we just feel that he's a loser. However, during the movie he seems to do the same trip again we realize that there is much more going on! The scene is played with such exquisite subtleness, it should be one of the funniest scenes I've seen in any movie! Not that this film is subtle, however, has a great range of visual comedy, one-liners, and (best of all), some excavations in the other films in the horror genre. The funniest is very subtle snipe at Boyles "28 days later - see if you can spot him! The only problem with checking this film is that there are so many funny moments, it's hard to choose any kind without spoiling the film. All I can say is that I can not remember this movie ever is consistently funny with probably five or six serious laugh-Out-loud moments. It was a pleasure to watch, and my only disappointment is that I can never see this movie for the first time - any other viewing.Shaun forever watching the dead is not everything though - language is the beginning of a strong and violence is a surprising 15 certificate film (in the UK). This movie will definitely be most appreciated by horror fans who know a huge catalog of horror films. He will also enjoy the teens (which filled the cinema, when you look at this film, which is great because they laugh the hardest). Finally, I have some criticisms of this film and it is somewhat wasted talent in the film. Black Books (Channel Four) star Dylan Moran felt a little lost and so was Martin Freeman (from BBC2s Office) - that would make a great zombie! I also place Matt Lucas (Little Britain from BBC3s) in this movie? I'm not sure because I was laughing too hard, maybe! These problems, however, are so small and easily forgiven. My suggestion is to go and shuffle slowly down to the local cinema to see this film and gives Simon Pegg money and recognition he deserves, so he can go and do more films that are on this product the newspapers in the UK suggested his next project - "From Dusk Till Shaun.
